’Time, Devourer of all Things’

Inspired by the rich history of the Adelaide GPO, this installation celebrates the original Overland Telegraph Line’s connection across Australia. Using copper pipes, their refined forms create a shimmering effect, symbolising the contours and waves across the landscape.

The concept development and vision for the artwork were shaped significantly through collaboration with Warren Pickering, a fellow artist who brought a unique perspective to the project. The creation process was highly collaborative, with Exhibition Studios playing a crucial role in refining the concept, detail design, including expertise in the technical fabrication and installation stages of the work.

The collaboration with Warren Pickering added a rich layer of depth to the project. Warren’s insights and ideas helped shape the narrative, making it a truly shared vision and personal reflections on the passage of time and the evolution of communication.
