This work seeks to bring awareness to our interconnectedness of our humanity with our environment; that we are not separate but part of the greater ecology, influencing the health and critical systems of the planet. Within the composition of the finer organic details, I have sought to express a delicateness that captures a sense of the fragility and vulnerability within our biosphere; whilst the vertical forms represent a strength through supporting this planet provides.

Healing comes when we reconnect with an expansive view and witness and behold our humanity in the context of the earth that supports life. The central opening prompts this engagement to a wider vantage point of the world.
